I am Nelson Dos Santos, a Junior CG artist. I am currently looking for a CG artist position within the London area.
In addition to being a CG generalist, I am also able to work on projects as a matte-painter, as I use and master this technique.
Indeed, during my second year of my masters course (completed in 2011) and after a 3 month summer internship at FX Télétota, where I successfully completed the matte painting for the series “La maison des rochevilles” and the Documentary film “Pasteur”, I was hired by the studio to make matte painting for the series “XIII” and the movie “Mr.BOB”.
In September 2011, I presented my masters thesis; it focused on matte painting. I designed the whole sets for my graduate project, Magnus “http://wp.me/sSfXM-magnus” (Siggraph Asia 2011).
After graduating in October 2011, I worked for Mundocom studio (Publicis Group) working on a car commercial, and creating modeling, texturing, matte painting in that context.
I have since decided to move to London. I am now living in West Kensington. I am available to join your team.
